The Institute employs around 400 employees of whom around 250 are employed in research. Around 100 employees work in academic positions (leading researchers, researchers and scientific assistants).
The education of the employees (PhD degree in science, MA degree, BA degree) has been obtained in various sectors necessary for ensuring the work of the institute, for example in natural sciences (chemistry and biology), engineering science, veterinary medicine, and etc.
A large part of the employees have experience in scientific work which is gained in national and international research projects.

Material technical basis of the Institute and high qualification of its employees ensure the possibility to involve new enthusiastic employees from higher education establishments as well as from colleges in the framework of praxis. The result of their motivation and working capabilities as well as the interest enhanced by the working environment ensure professional and career growth of these employees in the Institute.
